Kidney Stones!
This morning Jacob woke up in enormous pain. So I hurried and got dressed and Talmage in his car seat and ready to go! We headed off to Mercy Gilbert E.R. Jacob was in sooooooooo much pain. I felt so bad for him. They gave him TONS of pain meds and finally after a few hours, the pain lessened. After several tests, they discovered he had kidney stones...3 of them! Ouch!! So he's at home for the next few days. 4 medications, Wal-mart runs, Panda Express, and a new dvd, he's feeling a little bit better! But I have a feeling that there's a long, hard, and painful road ahead of him.

My little piano player!
Today we were at Grandma and Grandpa's house (Jacob's parents). They had the cutest little piano. And it actually was a REAL piano but just a lot smaller than usual. It was so cute and just Talmage's size. I knew he would LOVE playing on it! He loves his baby piano and loves to hit the piano keys while I'm teaching piano. SO here are some pics of him playing. He played for a long time and didn't want to leave it. It was so stinkin cute!

My Project Transformation!
I'm so excited about this! I bought some outdated gold, brassy, ugly looking lamps at Goodwill. I loved the shape of them, just not the color. I wish I had a before picture but I forgot to put my memory card back in when I took the before picture. Any, you can just use your imagination.
They looked kind of like this lamp's brassy color...but worse!

So, I spray painted them black! And I LOVE LOVE LOVE how they turned out! And they look even better in person with the light on too!

(Sorry about the blurry picture and wierd angle, I'm a horrible photographer!)
I bought the lampshade at Walmart on clearance for $4 a piece. They were normally $15 a piece. Then I bought some ribbon to match our decor for $4 also. I figured out that if I bought the same size lamp base at Walmart, already painted black, it would've cost me $25 a piece!! Crazy! I love saving money! So all in all, I figured out that it cost me $32 for both lamps combined when I would've spent $64 to buy the same look!!
I love it!

SPRING BREAK!!
So...it's officially Spring Break! Yay! I have a whole week off of school and from teaching piano lessons. That means all I have to do is be a mommy all day! It definately is the life! I had so much time on my hands today, I didn't know what to do! So I cleaned the house, vacuumed, and pretty much did everything to make it spotless. After that, I had no clue what to do. I'm usually always taking advantage of every spare moment I get to finish homework or make breakfast or something. So, I cleaned the car! Yep, every last piece of trash was gone! I even vacuumed! Then I wiped down the inside and filled the tank! I love Spring Break! Things actually get done!

Our Wonderful Anniversary!
Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary. We had so much fun! Talmage was in on the fun too! I'm so glad we didn't get a babysitter for him. Afterall, look at what 2 years has brought us..our little bundle of joy! Talmage was soooo good too!
The day before we got married, I went through the temple for the first time. And afterwards, Jacob gave me a single white rose symbolizing purity. It was so sweet! So this year for our anniversary, the night before, he gave me a dozen white roses! I have the sweetest, most thoughtful and sensitive husband! I love him so much! He also gave me a card that sings, "How Sweet It is to Be Loved By You"!
Well, to start things off, we headed off to Denny's for breakfast. We had a coupon and thought it'd be fun to go out to breakfast. Then, we headed off the Scottsdale Fashion Center.
We both had never been there before and thought we go on a little adventure!
Here are some pictures of Jacob and Talmage at the play center inside Scottsdale Fashion. It was so cool! There was a pirates ship where you could climb into it and even steer. And, there were indoor treehouses and even little girl play houses. It was definately the COOLEST play place I had ever seen!

And, we went to Olive Garden for dinner and came home to watch a movie! Thanks Hubby for the best anniversary! I'm so glad you're mine!
Bytheway, since it's our 2 year anniversary, the traditional gift is cotton. This worked out great since Jacob needed some new jeans. So, we got him some cotton!
I got Jacob a card too and his favorite candy...Reeses Pieces..oh ya and some cotton (jeans)!
