Pretty Little Princess

Ellie had her 2nd doctor's appointment on December 31st, 2.5 weeks old. Her birth weight was 7 lbs 14 oz. At 5 days old, she had only lost 1 oz, weighing in at 7 lbs 13 oz. At this appointment, another weight check, she weighed 9 lbs 1 oz! She's gained over a pound in 2 weeks! Yay! She continues to be a good baby. Her nights and days are a little mixed up, but that's understandable with a newborn. At around 2 weeks, she started being awake for 2 hour stretches in the day. We are just loving our sweet baby and are so grateful to have her! She's such a beautiful blessing!

Santa came to visit!

We received a surprise knock on our door Christmas Eve Day! It was Santa! He came to check if the kids were being good! A elderly man from our ward, and his daughter, went around the neighborhood to surprise families in our ward. It was the sweetest thing! What a way to celebrate the true meaning of Christmas. Here some pictures of their visit. They didn't turn out too well, since the sun was shining bright through the windows!
