12 weeks and way excited!!

Well, as of tomorrow I will be 12 weeks pregnant! yay! I'm almost out of the 1st trimester. It already seems like forever! Plus, I haven't had a doctor's appointment yet! It's making me go crazy! I just want to hear the heartbeat and/or see the baby!! So for now, I'm just going off faith! My appointment is one week from today, March 7th! Almost here! I just need to hang in there one more week! I am so excited about this baby! Jacob and I couldn't be happier!! If it's a boy the name will be Talmage and if it's a girl the name will be Emma. I have a feeling it might be a boy though. I guess I'll just have to wait to find out! Geez! I'm not good at this waiting patient game. It's so hard! Well, I'll let ya know how the first appointment goes next week! Wish us luck!

The Hubby Tag!

1. What's his name? Jacob CML Lewis
2. How long have you been married? 1 year (March 10)
3. How long did you date? For 3 months and then got married 6 weeks later! Fun times!
4. How old is he? 23
5. Who eats more? He DEFINATELY does! He always finishes what I can't eat. It's kind of nice!
6. Who said "I love you" first? He did! He is so sweet!
7. Who is taller? He is.
8. Who sings better? He definately does! He did choir in high school and has sung in church. NOT me!
9. Who is smarter? I think he's smarter but if you asked him, he'd say I was smarter. But I still say he's the smartest. That's why he makes the most money!
10. Whose temper is worse? We both don't really have a temper. Jacob is pretty calm about everything I'd say.
11. Who does the laundry? Me!
12. Who does the dishes? Me, but he usually helps clean up the kitchen after dinner.
13. Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? He does
14. Who pays the bills? Me! He makes most of the money and I just write the checks!
15. Who mows the lawn? We don't have lawn right now, but it will definatly be him!
16. Who cooks dinner? I do! But being pregnant, I haven't cooked much lately.
17. Who drives when you are together? He does! I just like it that way!
18. Who is more stubborn? I don't know but he'd probably say me. Who knows!
19. Who is the first to admit when they are wrong? Probably Jacob. He's always humble and says sorry. I need to be more like him!
20. Whose parents do you see the most? Mine. But we try to switch off every other Sunday for dinner.
21. Who proposed? Jacob did! He actually proposed during our engagement pictures! We knew we were going to get married but we were thinking the summer time because of school and then we decided to move it to spring break (hence our 6 week engagement) so then he had to get the ring ready and he thought it'd be cool to catch the moment on camera! How sweet!
22. Who has more friends? We pretty much have the same friends.
23. Who has more siblings? He definately does. He is the baby of 12! 8 sisters and 3 brothers! yep, he beats me!
24. Who wears the pants in the family? That's a funny question! We make most of our decisions together.

Happy Valentine's!! (almost)

Only 5 more days til Valentine's Day! Since that's my birthday, I didn't want to leave Jacob out on the whol Valentine fun so I decided to do the 12 Days of Valentine's! It's just like the 12 days of Christmas but with lovey dovey stuff! Well, after the first few days, I started running out of ideas. It's so hard to think of 5 things and then 6 things and then 7 things etc. But I'm making it! He's hoping I'm going to give him 12 DVD's on the 12th day. Funny!

We will miss him dearly and we'll always remember the example he was! We know that he is in a better place and happier than ever to see his eternal companion, Marjorie.

Happy 10 month!!

Today is our 10 month anniversary! I can't believe it's almost been a year! Crazy! And, we have a baby on the way. It's due September 15! We couldn't be happier! We're sooooo excited! I can't wait til we get the first ultrasound!

November & December

Well, Jacob was once again the #1 referrer for November!!! And just recently, starting January, Jacob got a raise and moved up. Now he is an SSA or Service and Sales Associate. I'm so proud of him!!

This Christmas was our very first Christmas together!!!! It was soooooooo much fun! I can't wait for next year and when we have kids. We already have ideas for traditions with our future kids. We can't wait for the day we have kids!

Life is going to be getting busier in the next few weeks because school is starting again! Ahh! This break has flown by. Jacob is taking a math class and an Ancient Cities and Lost Tribes class. So he's excited for that one! I am taking a full schedule again.... including Chemistry!

#1 Referrer for October

Jacob was the top referrer in the East New Build District!! He had 43 referrals!!!! He's a star teller and moving up to be a banker in the next few months! I'm so proud of you hubby!!

Funny Chin

Jacob loves to have fun and this is one of the many wasy he likes to make our family laugh. This is has become a family tradition. We call this his "funny chin" where he's impersonating Andrea Bocelli singing (Jacob's version) Time to Say Goodbye.
