Our Everyday Life (Just in case anyone wanted to know...)

So I thought I'd post about what we do eveyday (lately).

My day starts anywhere between 5:00am and 6:00am. Talmage decided that he likes to wake up really early! So we wake up, play, bottle, diaper change, get dressed, breakfast etc. That's Talmage's routine. After that, we take daddy to work. Once we get home, I start my workout. I've been working out 6 days a week (every now and then I skip a day) and I love it. It's definately hard but I love the feeling afterwards. And I've already lost 4 inches so I'm happy! I love the feeling of being toned and fit.

Anyways, then I try to get Talmage down for a nap. Key word = TRY. He doesn't like his naps very much lately. Then, while he's sleeping, I get ready for the day and start on school. I just started my online classes this week. I'm taking 4 whopping classes! This is the first since before Talmage so wish me luck! After Talmage's we run errands, play together, do more homework, play together, housework, etc. And hopefully he takes an afternoon nap. Then, I teach piano lesson for s few hours in the afternoon. After that, we go pick up daddy! I've been taking him and picking him up everyday because he's on Oxycodone for his kidney stones (which STILL haven't passed!).

So there you have it! A rough schedule of our everyday life! Not that you care, but just in case!

Kidney Stones...again

Remember my post 3 months ago about Jacob having kidney stones in both his kidneys? Well he ended up passing the right kidney stones about a month later. So the doctor put him "under" and supposedly blasted the left kidney stones. Guess what... He didn't!!!! Friday morning at 5 am Jacob woke me to take him to the ER. And Talmage decided to have a bad night and wake up at 3:30 am and go back to bed until a few minutes before 5. My poor poor hubby! He's been a trooper! Groggy and a little cranky but definately a trooper! I look up to him! He's my hero! Get better hubba!

5 New Achievements

1. He will be a whopping 1 year old this month! (August 30th!)

2. He is CRUISING! He's walking along the couches and standing up and walking around tables.

3. He's climbing stairs!! He climbed my parents entire staircase on Sunday and then did it again on Monday! (Don't worry, we were behind him. We just wanted to see how far he'd actually go.)

4. He walks and pushes his walker thing. I'm not sure what it is called but It has a handle and four wheels. We are impressed!

5. He walks with only one hand being held!

I can't believe my baby is almost walking! It's exciting yet scary at the same time. He is so active already! I'm not looking forward to school starting next semester. It's going to be tough to manage online classes and keep up with my ever so active fun playing boy! Wish us luck!

Update!

Talmage is now sick...darn it! He managed to catch the same thing Jacob and I had. He's had a few fevers (low ones thankfully) and a cough and sore throat. Also, he has a bacterial infection in both his eyes. The doctor called it a "cold in his eye." So he's taking some eye drops.

And with being sick, he doesn't like to sleep much! He's been waking up in the night every night and some nights he won't go to bed until 11:30pm! Needless to say, I'm tired too!

We have been doing pretty good other than being sick. We are getting ready for our move next week. I don't really mind moving so much. Maybe it's because this will be our 5th move since we've been married.

Oh yes and Jacob and I are getting healthy! We are starting to workout together and as funny as this sounds...I love the feeling of being sore! It feels sooooo good because I know I worked hard!

And we are still looking for a new car to replace our totalled one. If anyone knows of a good deal...let us know!

We've been sick! :(

Jacob was sick all last week and now I'm sick! And we both have the same thing...imagine that! We've had a sore throat, coughing, simus, nose, ear infection, fevers all in one! So we've had a crazy past couple weeks. Right as Jacob starts getting over his sickness...he decides to pass it on to me! We just hope Talmage doesn't get it! We are now both on antibiotics so we hope he won't!

Crawling

right around the time he turned 10 months. he took off..literally and theres no stopping him now..

He has also been pulling himself up on things..

Oh yea...Our Car Got TOTALLED!

I forgot to blog about our car. We got T-Boned by a 17-year-old at the Chandler Mall. And then, we found out he threw a marijuana pipe out the window of his car right before he pulled over to talk with us. So, Jacob called the Police and they took care of him. Everyone is ok, thankfully. Now we get a much need NEW car seat paid in full by the other insurance company! Yay! And a small check to buy a new car. So right now we are driving a rental car. It stinks that are car got totalled because we only have ONE car and it was paid off!! Now we have to buy a car and get a loan on it...not fun! Oh well, at least we get a new car!

What Talmage has been up to lately...

1. The Talmage Crawl He can get just about anywhere he wants to but only with the "Talmage crawl." It consists of any or all of the following: -Rolling -Getting on his knees and then stomach, knees, then stomach like a snail. -And, since our carpet is shag, he pulls the carpet while pushing off on his toes Here's a video of that:

2. He flexes! He will flex on his own, after he's eaten somehting yummy or when someone flexes first, he'll copy. It is so dang cute! I love my muscle man! Here's a video of it:


3. He does push ups! He's in the middle of crawling and walking so he's always pushing up!

4. He pulls himself up to stand His favorite is to pull himself up in the bathtub. Here's a picture of him taking a bath in Grandma's sink:

Happy 25th Birthday Jacob!

Yesterday Jacob turned 25!! He started his day off by opening half of his presents in the morning and saving half for his family birthday party at night. We went out to dinner to Rosa's Mexican Grille (his FAVORITE) with my parents, my sister, and his parents.

I hope you enjoyed your birthday Hubby!! I love you and am so thankful to have you as my wonderful husband!

BTW, the picture above is Jacob right after he was born. He was a preemie and had Pulmonary Hypertension. It was an absolute miracle that he lived! And I am so so glad that he's here because there never was or will be a better father or husband than Jacob! I love you!
