Jacob passed all 3 tests!

As of today, Jacob has passed all 3 of his licensing tests: Series 6, Series 63, and Life Insurance! He's been studying everyday for the past 2 months, 8 hours a day, in downtown Phoenix to pass these 3 tests. Starting tomorrow, he will be working in Queen Creek now! His branch is at Ellsworth Lp and Rittenhouse, only about 5-7 minutes from our house! I'm am so proud of him and so excited for him too! Now he can come home for lunch! I am so glad that now I can finally have my husband back...stress-free and studying-free!

Father's Day GIft from Talmage

This Father's Day I wanted to give a special and personal gift to Jacob from Talmage since he's old enough this year to participate more. I wanted to do something unique so I finally came up with an idea. I had a mini scrapbook album lying around that I had never used so we decided to make daddy a book. On the cover, I put rub-on letters that said, "To Daddy From Talmage." The first page of the book, which was the title, said "I try to do the things you do 'cuz I want to be just like you!". Then I took 15 pictures of Talmage doing things that daddy does. I then put them on some scrapbook paper and decorated them a little and put them in the book. It turned out so cute! It was hit! Daddy loved it! And it was fun seeing or trying to get Talmage to do what his daddy does. Here are the pictures:

He Passed!!

Jacob passed the Series 63 exam today with flying colors!! He did awesome! He scored well above what he needed to pass. I am so so so proud of him! Yay!!

For those of you who don't know what the Series 63 is, it's a financial test he needs to pass for his promotion in his job at Chase Bank. He still needs to pass Series 6 and Life but he's got a great start!! I am so thankful for a husband who works so hard for our family. He sacrifices so much for us and studying and taking these tests are just one of his many sacrifices. I love you Hubby!

News...

I'm going to be a BIG Brother!

So after 12 months of trying, a miscarriage, and a few months later... we are so happy to announce that we are pregnant! Woo Hoo! Everything seems to be going great! We've had an ultrasound and heard the heart beat at two different doctor's appointments! I'm 12 weeks so yay!! I'm due December 15th!! I made it through the first trimester and I've only gained 1 pound! That's a great start considering I gained 50 lbs with Talmage!

Splash Pad

It's been pretty hot the past few days so I decided to take Talmage to the Splash Pad at the San Tan Mall. The water was pretty cold but Talmage loved it!

The Duck

Last night we found a duck in our front yard, sitting in the grass. A real live DUCK! Talmage was so fascinating by it. Jacob put some gloves on so he could hold it and show Talmage it up close. Then, we left him in our yard, ran an errand and when we came...no duck. Talmage got out of the car and ran over to the grass to see if he was still there. It was so cute!

Disneyland

We left for Disneyland on February 9, 2010 after Jacob came home from work. We rented a car the night before so we wouldn't have to worry about our car having problems. That night, we stayed at Del Sol Inn, which is directly across the street from Disneyland. It wasn't the best hotel but it was ok. The next morning we woke up early, ate at Denny's and walked on over to Disneyland. We went to Disneyland a total of 4 days. The following two nights we stayed at the Hilton. It was so nice!! We had them vallet our car and bring us our luggage. We even ordered dinner to be delivered to our room! We spent time at the pool and spa too. We felt so rich. I'm so glad we did it though because it was so much fun! The last night we were there we stayed practically across the street at Fairfield Inn by Marriot. It was nice but not nearly as nice as the Hilton. So, we went to Disneyland on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and half of Saturday. Talmage had a blast! I'm so glad we took him. Last time we went to Disneyland, I was pregnant with Talmage so it was a lot of fun to be able to ride EVERYTHING! I loved spending time with just Jacob and Talmage and making our own family memories. Enjoy the pictures!
