I can't believe Talmage is already 12 weeks! He's growing up so fast! He now smiles and laughs! It is so fun to play with him now. He's developing his personality more and more. He also holds his head up pretty well now.

Tummy time is his favorite! He can push himself up with his arms and look all around. What a curious little boy!
He also loves the TV! Whenever the TV is on, he's turning his head to watch! He even has a favorite color now..RED! Anything RED!
Talmage has a million different faces and expressions! Each time we take a picture, he has a new face! He's such a funny little boy!
OH ya, and here's his STATS:
-13 lbs 6 oz
-23 in long
-72% percentile in weight
-48% in length

Talmage's Blessing

Talmage Jacob Lewis was blessed by his daddy on Sunday, November 9, 2008. It was a beautiful blessing! Lots of wonderful things were promised to him. I am so grateful to have a worthy priesthood holder in our home who can bless our baby. It was a wonderful day and lots and lots of family came to blessing but all we could manage in the pictures were the grandparents. Both grandparents came. Jacob's parents bought him his outfit and I crocheted him his white blanket. Enjoy the pics!

Daddy & Talmage

Daddy and Talmage snuggled up in our bed! So cute!

Time Out for Couples

Last night we went to Time Out for Couples. I had heard about from deseretbook.com about 6 months ago and I knew we had to go. It was a little pricey but well worth it! What a great experience. And I also think that it helped strengthened our marriage and bring us closer together. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and had so much fun! Talmage was so good for us too although he was wide awake the entire time!

HIGHLIGHTS FROM TONIGHT:

*Peter Breinholt was there and sang some of his best songs and shared some great experiences he had upon writing them. VERY talented man.

*Doug Brinley was a marriage/family psychologist that was funny and kept everyone's attention. He said with out a doubt in order to make a marriage work, both partners need to be living the gospel fully. PRIDE and SELFISHNESS are the reasons marriages end. He said the best thing we can do for our marriages is pray together as husband and wife every day. This one act is the only thing that binds us together to the Lord.

*Mark Mabry, once again, took our breath away with sharing his inspired work of Reflections of Christ. He shared his testimony on the importance of ridding things in our life that don't invite the spirit. The small things...music we listen to, the books we read, the simplest daily things we do. By doing so, we will come to know our Savior a bit more and be able to receive inspiration a bit more easily. I know this is true.

*Richard and Kathleen Walker (Pres. Hinckley's daughter & her hubby) spoke on 3 main points:

1.Men and Women were purposely created differently. We see and hear things differently. UTILIZE OUR DIFFERENCES AND APPLY THEM TO MAKE ONE WHOLE UNIT!

2.MAKE YOUR SPOUSES HAPPINESS HAPPIER THAN YOUR OWN.
Is this really possible? It's the natural man to take care of yourself first. Kathleen said she asked her mom (Marjery Hinckley) one time how to maintain such happiness in a marriage. Her response was: LOWER YOUR EXPECTATIONS.

3. Do we REALLY understand and apply to RECEIVE one another?
*Receive each other as best friends.
*Receive each other unconditionally, just as we are.
*Receive each other as #1.
