Proud Sister of a United States Marine!

On Friday, January 30, 2009 my brother graduated as a Private First Class from the United States Marine Corps in San Diego, CA. I am so proud of him! Marine bootcamp is the hardest and most extreme out of all the military bootcamps. My brother s my hero! He's on leave for 10 days and then working as a recruiter in the Marines office for another 14 days. Then he's off for more training! It was such a great experience and I couldn't be happier for my brother!

More Pics of Talmage and his firsts!

He can sit up!

This week Talmage has had a lot of firsts! Here they are:
1. Rolling over!! (from tummy to back on 1/23 and back to tummy on 1/25!)
2. Making his froggy sing! (a toy on his car seat...he has to touch the frog's eyes to make it light up and sing)
3. He can move in his bouncer to different toys (His chair can rotate 360 degrees and he can move in it himself!)
4. He can sit up in a grocery cart by himself without tipping!! (This one is my favorite!)

Enjoy our adorable baby!

Back in School!

School has begun again for me! I enjoyed the time off of school but unfortunately...I'm back at it again. This time I'm taking online classes. So far I've been able to keep up with everything and even complete assignments ahead of time. It's a little tough juggling school and a baby but that's ok. Life isn't supposed to be easy! Plus, it's helping me become a better mom! I'm taking PSY 123: Psycology of Parenting. I think I'm really going to enjoy this class! Also, I'm learning to plan and schedule my time a lot better! (That is..if you can schedule and plan with a 5 month old!) We are moving at the end of February and until then, we don't have the internet. So, I've been spending a lot of time at my parents house trying to complete all my assignments. But hey...it works! I'm there anyway teaching piano lessons. Oh the joy of Education...

Updates On My Boys!

Life is good and we couldn't be happier. Sometimes I wonder how we make it each month but then I remember how truly blessed we are! We have the most wonderful, happy, cuddly, smiley, little boy! Parenting is BLISS! ANd it still feels like Jacob and I are newlyweds! I can't believe we have a baby! It seems like we were just married yesterday and on our honeymoon. I love Jacob with all my heart and I feel so privileged to be a parent with him and the mother of his baby. I couldn't live a day without him! I feel so blessed to have a husband who allows me to stay home with Talmage. He works so hard for our family! I just teach piano just for fluff money or times when I have to buy books and pay for tuition! I'm so lucky! I love him! Well, enough about us and our family! I just wanted everyone to know how much I love my hubby and our little baby boy! Life is GREAT!

Here a recent pic of little Talmage! He's growing up so fast! He can now sit in a grocery cart all by himself without tipping!!! I'm so proud of my boy!

Here's my two boys going down the slide together! I love it!

Just like Daddy!

THe other day Jacob wanted to try a little gel in his hair and this is how it turned out! I think his hair is a little to long to look like daddy's!
